Superate is a comprehensive strategy established by President Luis Abinader through decree 377-211, aimed at implementing a comprehensive fight against poverty.

The program combines financial assistance with access to essential services such as education, health, and job training, focusing on low-income families, with special emphasis on women, children, people with disabilities, and the elderly.

ELIGIBILITY AND EXIT CRITERIA FROM THE PROGRAM

The beneficiary families in Superate are selected through the Unified Beneficiary System (SIUBEN), which is in charge of categorizing and conducting periodic evaluations to adjust the necessary support and reassign resources according to the evolution of the circumstances of the participant households.

TRAINING DEPARTMENT:

In partnership with the
Technical Professional
Training Institute
(INFOTEP), Superate
has trained 235,883
people.

FAMILY AGRICULTURE DEPARTMENT:

In partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture and FAO, 400 people participate in 57 Shade Houses located in 18 provinces of the country.

COOPERATIVE COMMERCE DEPARTMENT:

Through the production of handicrafts, textiles, and typical Dominican sweets, 2,029 families participate in the Dominican Hands, Delights, and Cayena textile line projects.

ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEPARTMENT:

From 2020 to date,
1,710 women have been part of the

Mujeres Superemprendedoras project.

FINANCIAL EDUCATION AND INCLUSION:

26,351 people have been trained in education and financial inclusion in partnership with the national banking system, such as BanReservas among other allies.

ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEPARTMENT:

Centro de Superación
Gastronómica: Superate has 3 Gastronomic Improvement Centers, and to date, 6,423 people have been trained in technical actions related to tourism.

EMPLOYMENT DEPARTMENT:

Offers psychological assistance, legal advice, social work, and training based on the Support Guide for Women’s Groups (GAM), from a socio-educational and human rights approach.
Impact: 9,952 beneficiaries since 2020
